Event planning has always been a dream career of mine since I was 14 years old. It started with browsing through wedding magazines to interning non-stop while in college, and then working in the industry for several years. It is truly a dream come true to be able to do what I love, meet so many amazing people, and to work alongside so many creatives.

Hello! I am a teacher by day and also do weddings and events on the weekends! I recently just got married and am enjoying my newlywed life :) My favorite part about weddings is when you honor the parents. It is such a heartfelt moment where I cry endlessly every time. It really touches my heart and makes me appreciate my family all the more.

My name is Jessica and I’m a big foodie, doting chicken mama, and Jesus lover! My friends would describe me as someone who can’t help but see the positive in all situations... and as someone who tells terrible jokes (I think they’re funny). For as long as I can remember I carried such a fascination with weddings and events. I enjoy the meticulous planning and organization behind making events come together flawlessly. Yet even more than that, I love that I’m able to help create a celebration that brings all the important people in your life together, under one roof. Working with CCL Weddings has been a dream come true – Cat always encourages us to dream big dreams and go past limits that have been set by our industry. There’s never a dull moment and I’m lovin’ it!

 Hi! I'm Ashley and I'm THE KBBQ queen and a die hard Jonas Brothers fan (please don't judge me on this because I swear I really do have good music taste). I have a ton of different interests, but what really excites me is meeting new people and having great conversations with them! I receive my energy from being around people because it makes me feel alive and excited. There is nothing like good synergy among a group that creates an amazing time. This translates exactly the same in the wedding world, as I love working with new people to collaborate new and fun ideas to produce an event that is unlike any other. The best type of weddings are the ones that perfectly depicts the personality of a couple in their design and details all while being supported by an amazing group of vendors.

I like gloomy days, reading, drawing, good food and coffee. I’m consistently inspired by design, especially that of God the master creator, and love to explore and travel. Weddings are my creative outlet and doubles as a hobby for me. I enjoy that our weddings transform spaces with details and designs that are unique to each couple.

I LOVE a good story—everything from heroes saving the day to the underdogs overcoming adversity. But the grandest, most humbling, and awe-inspiring stories are about LOVE. My job as an event planner goes beyond that of organizing timelines and placing centerpieces. Sure, all of that will be designed down to the T, but my passion is bringing your love story to life and to enfold your friends and family in romance and enchantment. 

Working in the corporate world, I’ve planned everything from corporate retreats and non-profit galas to award ceremonies for the entertainment industry, but sometimes the corporate world is a little limiting. I find it particularly fun and fulfilling to pour my excess creativity and quirky aesthetics into wedding events. I enjoy finding the perfect spot to first meet couples to learn and become friends, like that one cafe with the best black sesame cold brew latte or that one restaurant with the incredible yuzu panna cotta (did I mention I love desserts?). It’s my personal goal to make sure the entire wedding planning experience is as fun, enjoyable, and romantic for you as possible.

Hi! My name is Danielle! I am a creative who appreciates good design and am often inspired by God, the creator of all things. I enjoy exploring the outdoors, traveling with friends, and snacking always. I'm an introverted extrovert who appreciates quality time with others. I love bringing people together to celebrate all things big and small. One of my favorite things about wedding days is witnessing the love and laughter of the bride and groom as they celebrate this magical moment with loved ones. I am thankful to be part of the CCL team that impacts the lives of others and brings joy to such a memorable and unforgettable day.

Growing up in a family-run restaurant business, customer relationships, fast-paced working environments, and the constant aroma of tasty food with warm company have all become second nature for me. These elements drive my passion for weddings and events! Since I was young, I knew I had a knack for organization and planning, an eye for all things gold, glittery, and glamorous, and a true excitement for bringing good food and even better company together. I am thrilled to have found my passion coordinating events that lets my business expertise shine in a creative, personal context.

I was born in Louisiana during Mardi Gras, so I feel like I was destined at birth to love being around a good party or celebration. Turns out I love planning a party more than I love taking part. I’ve always enjoyed weddings and events for the social experience. Such a joyous time for everyone. It brings me joy to be able to contribute and ease the stress that may be caused from planning a wedding so that a couple can focus their energy on what matters. Their love for each other and their friends and family. I do it for Love, and the amazing people and creatives I get to meet along the way is an added bonus.

On a weekly basis, I am looking up flights on Google, brainstorming road trip ideas or looking for new restaurants/breweries to check out. I am a lover of planning. I always preferred to be in the background, planning and prepping for the main events, from church retreats to friends' bachelorette parties to trips with my loved ones. I found joy in wedding coordinating soon after the first wedding I assisted at and seeing all the labor come into fruition! It's so beautiful to see people with different backgrounds come together to celebrate the special day with the couple!

I love all the attention to detail and creativity that goes into every wedding, and how each wedding is specifically unique to each couple because their stories are so uniquely different! But even more than the details of the wedding day itself, it’s a particular privilege of mine to be a part of the beginning of our couples’ lives together as one!

Hello there! My name is Carren Upasani. I was born in Hong Kong, moved to San Francisco at a really young age and moved to Irvine for college and never left Orange County :) I was class president all 4 years in high school which helped me develop my love for planning and planning events. I love food like breakfast burritos, popcorn chicken, chocolate chip cookies, egg tarts and drinking boba milk teas. I love planning weddings where I can help couples bring their personalities into their special day. I enjoy getting to know each couple over yummy food and drinks. It's so amazing to see how CCL plans and customizes each wedding to illustrate the couple's personality and I am so blessed to be a part of the couple's big day!

our philanthropy

Since 2011, we have proudly donated a portion from each service package to various non-profit organizations as part of our commitment to giving back to our community and the world.

These contributions are donated on the behalf of every individual couple to organizations that reflect their desires. If a couple does have a preferred charity or organization in mind, we are always more than happy to entertain suggestions.

Additionally, weddings incorporate many beautiful items that we do not want to waste! If the couple decides not to keep décor items from their wedding, we are more than happy to sell the item(s) and donate the funds to a non-profit organization. We also offer to donate and deliver “used” floral arrangements from the wedding to local shelter(s) for continued enjoyment.
