I cannot believe I am still catching up on 2013 wedding posts, but I will say that there is a lot of pretty and fun coming your way!
Angella and Timothy wedded on one of busiest days of the year fr us in 2013, and our very own Christina Lee took on their September 28th 2013 wedding at the Montage in Beverly Hills. I was so thrilled to work with Angella and Timothy because of two different reasons; Angella was friends with one of my own very close friends and she has THE most fun and energetic personalities. I could talk to her for hours and hours at a time as long as their is food in front of us. Plus, I absolutely love hearing the story on how they met over and over again.
The couple loved the movie UP and shared lots of personal stories that were related to the movie, so it was only appropriate we would incorporate bits and pieces of the movie into their own wedding. Grape soda buttons were hand made and given to guests upon arrival to the ceremony to pin on and wear for the duration of the event. The adorable flower girl and ring boy carried large pink and gold balloons with tissue paper fringe, and possibly one of my favorite details was their unity mailbox. Instead of the typical candle or sand ceremony the couple got their hands nice and dirty during the ceremony to imprint their hand prints on the side of the mailbox that would one day stand in front of their home.
As guests made their way down to the reception ballroom (possibly one of my favorite ballrooms in Los Angeles) they found their names and tables on the wings of a paper airplanes that were pinned to large vintage map boards. Thanks to the talented Hannah Koo of Milieu Floral Design for her beautiful work on each and every centerpiece.
Angella and Timothy, even though I personally was not able to be at your wedding I still am so overjoyed to have worked with you and get to know you both. I hear there is a baby on the way and I cannot wait to see photos and possibly meet him or her if you are ever back in So Cal. Congrats again and again on your marriage and remember…. ADVENTURE AWAITS!
