Being around people who can give me a good laugh is a perk of what I love to do (planning, of course), and after meeting Janice and David for the first time at Starbucks, I knew we were a perfect match! I am naturally a pretty loud person, but never have I encountered someone as loud (or possibly louder) than me. I still remember that glorious day someone at the local Starbucks actually told us to be quiet, and we still joke about that to this day.

Janice and David said “I DO” this past March at the beautiful Intercontinental Hotel in Century City. It was a beautiful day, despite the fact it did POUR on their wedding day. Although we had to move the wedding ceremony inside, I believe it was only meant to be. We switched up the entire wedding ceremony and re-designed a new set-up that worked for the indoor space, and thankfully we did because there was no way their ceremony would have been possible in that storm. I created the hashtag #whenitrainsitpourslove in tribute to their wedding, as it was truly a testament to that day.

We were ecstatic when Janice decided on a colorful and fun palette of coral, navy, ivory and peach for her colors, and Shelby from Green Leaf Designs truly did an amazing job with the floral. The couple loved their coffee dates and had a deep love for pastries, so it was only fitting to have a “Welcome” table with mini canned Illy coffee and assorted mini muffins for the guests to snack on prior to the ceremony. The reception itself was a festive celebration with a live band, a delicious three-course dinner, and a Sprinkles cart to top it all off with more selections than we could handle. Sprinkles created a beautiful display of cupcakes, cupcake tops, cookies and ice cream! My absolute favorite was their Cap’n Crunch ice cream, so if you are ever on Rodeo in Beverly Hills, you should definitely stop on by for a scoop or two!

Janice and David, thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding journey and seeing everything come to life on the BIG DAY! I truly believe it was an amazing day and I know your marriage will “pour” love each and every day. I’ve loved our long and loud chats. You two seriously are amazing to be around and always bring a smile and a good laugh. Congrats again and again to the both of you.
