A lot of people used to tell me that time fliesas you get older, and I must say they were not joking one bit. It’s almost half way through the year and I still feel like it was just yesterday that I was in Puerto Vallarta ringing in the New Year. I mark my calendar off every day, yet I feel like I am just turning the pages of my calendar to the next month.
We are eagerly prepping for our upcoming summer weddings these next few months, and I cannot be more excited to share what is in store. 2013 is definitely a year full of weddings and events for our own clients as well as those near and dear to us. My sister, Amy, will be walking down the aisle on June 15th 2013, and I wake up each day more thrilled to see the first Leo sister become a “Mrs.” I have 3 sisters who are VERY different in their own ways, but let’s just say we make life more interesting for my mom. Our very own Robin Kim is also getting ready to walk down the aisle in September and boy, oh boy, do we have a wedding in store for her as well!
Today we bring to you a wedding taken place last November in Temecula, California. CCL took on the role to plan and style this vineyard wedding, and Carren, Maggie and Liz (our lead and associate coordinators) took on the production and coordination on the actual day. (If you haven’t met these three ladies yet, please visit our website and check them out under “About Us”) Yumi and Jose said “I do” overlooking a beautiful vineyard over Thanksgiving weekend at the beautiful Villa de Amore. Their wedding consisted of soft mints and pinks with touches of silver and gray. The wedding reception was absolutely gorgeous with tons of candles that ran down the mint and lace runners down the table that really made the courtyard glow. Did I mention the couple was from Argentina and Brazil? Naturally, we could not help but serve sangria and caipirinha with mini versions of the country’s respective flags placed in each cup.
Yumi and Jose, it was more than a pleasure to work with the two of you. You two seriously are such a joy to be around! Too bad I learned at our last meeting that dinner and drinks always make the meetings that much better for all of us. Best of luck with your business, Yumi! May it continue to grow and grow because you are so talented and generous that you deserve it!
